Alaska Adventure Tours

Are you looking for outdoor adventures in Alaska? Denali Outdoor Center is proud to offer Alaska adventure tours on the beautiful Nenana River for guests with rafting or kayaking experience, as well as those at the beginner level. Ages five through 85 are welcome to explore this glacial river adventure with the guidance of our highly skilled staff.

Denali Outdoor Center, located on the eastern border of Denali National Park, provides visitors with a variety of Alaskan tour options. We allow you to determine your own adventure level; for example, you are free to choose between touring on a paddle raft or an oar boat. When you choose the paddle raft, your team will be following commands from your river guide in order to keep the raft headed in the right direction--it's fun, exciting, and totally exhilarating! If you'd rather sit back and enjoy the scenery, an oar boat would be ideal for you. With this tour, your river guide will fully navigate the boat from a rowing frame, so you can hold on and enjoy adventure.

For those interested in a more vigorous adventure, kayaking may be the best option for touring the Nenana River. We offer inflatable or hard-shell kayaks, depending on your personal kayaking experience level. We recommend inflatable kayaks for beginners, as they are more forgiving in whitewater. If you are considering a kayaking adventure, please keep in mind that kayaking takes a lot of energy so you will need to be in good physical condition. The individual reward of kayaking is worth the workout, though--it's an incredible Alaska adventure tour.
