Denali Outdoor Center is pleased to offer a variety of river tours to our guests. Our center is located on the Eastern boundary of Denali National Park, making our river tours extraordinarily beautiful. Our staff is professionally trained and dedicated to superior service; the owners have over 45 years combined experience on the Nenana River.

You can choose exactly what kind of tour you wish to participate in, based on your preference and previous experience. For example, we offer a choice of three different river tours. The Canyon Run is a two-hour whitewater adventure including class III and IV rapids. Although this run is exciting, no experience is necessary to enjoy the tour. Scenic Wilderness is our second tour option created for those interested in a more scenic experience. You can count on this tour if you are planning a trip involving smaller children. For those of you who like the best of both worlds, you can try our Nenana Half-Day. This is a four-hour tour combining the beauty of the Scenic Wilderness stretch and the rapids of Canyon Run.

We also allow you to choose between oar rafts and paddle rafts. Paddle rafts create a more hands-on experience, as the guests help to paddle and maneuver the raft, while oar boats leave the navigation completely up to your guide. With all of these choices, we are sure you will find your experience personally suited for your needs.
