Cabins & Campgrounds

Denali Outdoor Center (D.O.C.) now offers economy cabin and camping accommodations at our premier property on the shores of Otto Lake. Our cabins and secluded, dry-site camping sites give guests an opportunity to experience the peace and solitude visitors expect in the Denali area. Customers can also combine rafting, kayaking, mountain biking or canoeing reservations in one of our discounted packages for extra value.

Otto Lake is conveniently located 2 miles south of Healy, Alaska and only 10 minutes north of the Denali National Park entrance. Guests can enjoy canoeing, kayaking and mountain biking conveniently from our Otto Lake headquarters without the hassle of driving or crowds. As well, we offer courtesy shuttle service to and from all D.O.C. rafting excursions.

There are 3 economy cabins set in quaking poplar trees on the shoreline of Otto Lake. Each cabin comes with a private deck picnic table and fire pit offering spectacular views of the Alaska Range. The cabins will comfortably sleep up to 4 guests and have shared use of our shower-house, laundry and kitchen facility. All of our facilities are well maintained and very clean. Each bathroom has an inclusive shower, toilet and vanity basin in complete privacy.

* A private vehicle is recommended for transportation to and from Otto Lake. Free rafting shuttle service is available at scheduled trip times.

Camping

Denali Outdoor Center offers a variety of campsites. We can accommodate small RV's up to 30' and trucks with campers in our 10 ' View' sites. These sites have spectacular views of the Alaska Range. We do not supply hook-ups for electric or water. There is potable water available.

Our lakeside sites are more suited to tents. These sites are in a wooded aspen and spruce forest along the lake shore. Many of these are walk-in sites and are within 100 yards of the parking areas. This camping is some of the most private you will find at Denali National Park.In addition, we have 2 group sites, which provide camping for up to 20 people, with central fire-pits and picnic tables. Campfires will be permitted only during times of low fire danger. Outhouses are available throughout the campground.

3 night lakefront cabin rental, Nenana Half Day river trip and Inflatable Kayak tour.

These packages must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Additional $2.89 per person, per night bed tax.
